In a number of Water Treatment plants there is a requirement to remove excess CO2 from water streams that can effectively be carried out by air stripping the CO2. Parsons manufacture a standard range of CO2 Degassers for flowrates from 2 to 45 m3/h for larger duties a range of bespoke units up to 300m3/h are available, the units are available as induced draught or forced draught and can be provided with running and standby fans.
The units are manufactured from Polypropylene reinforced externally with GRP.
Parsons have been supplying equipment and services to the water treatment industry since 1969 including CO2 Degassing Towers for the removal of excess Carbon Dioxide, Parsons Towers reduce inlet concentrations from 300 ppm to less than 5 ppm CO2 expressed as CaCO3. The units are available in a standard range of induced type rated at 2 – 45 m3/h. Larger duties for specific flowrates up to 300 m3/h have been built in both forced draught and induced styles.

Water Storage and Chemical Storage up to 280 m3 |
|
Vessels are manufactured from PVC, Polypropylene, Acrylic, PVDF, ECTFE, FEP, PFA reinforced externally where required with GRP. In accordance with standards such as ASME X and DVS 2205 are also available on request. |
|
Vessels are available in rectangular/square styles in complete or sectional design, where space or processes prefer circular vessels up to 4.5 metres diameter 18 metres tall can be produced. Circular vessels tend to be vertical axis but if preferred Parsons can supply Horizontal axis vessels complete with support cradles. Full delivery, installation and commissioning services are available using our own experienced site technicians supervised by our Qualified Engineering Staff. |
